We serve breakfast from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.;
guests who are not staying at the hotel are also welcome.

Dinner
We serve dinner from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. in our historic dining room.

Our restaurant has a limited number of seats. To ensure we can welcome you in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, we recommend reserving your table in advance. We are happy to take your reservation and look forward to welcoming you.

We will surprise you with a new menu variation every day. Look forward to a selection of hot and cold starters, two varied main courses, and tempting desserts.

In the summer months, the BAR on Plaz Grond serves small dishes made from regional ingredients during the day.

The bright scent of coffee wafts through the house; it's time for breakfast in the dining room or, if the weather is warm, in the garden. Coffee perks up sleepy spirits; grain and bread, honey and sweet spreads, they all come from the valley.

The organic hay milk from the monastery's farm brings butter and cheese to the table, the latter produced in the Chascharia Val Müstair and aged in one of the historic cellars of the Convent of St John at Müstair. Host Uli is responsible for its affinage. 

Meanwhile, a sizzling and chopping can be heard from the kitchen, right next to the dining room. Oliver Thialer is at the stove preparing dinner. He finds plenty of inspiration on his doorstep, in the meadows and forests.

Klosterbauer Johannes liefert das beste Getreide im Tal, ebenso Schaf-, Kitz- und Schweinefleisch sowie Kuhmilch. Das Rindfleisch kaufen wir beim Bio Hof im Val Müstair. Eier legen glückliche Hühner auf rund 1'600 Meter am Bergbauernhof über dem Tal.

Kräutlein und Gräser, Äpfel und Gemüse wachsen zum Teil im eigenen Garten, das Tal gibt rund ums Jahr viel Kostbares her.

Weine stammen aus der Bündner Herrschaft oder dem Südtirol, das Bier von der nahen Brauerei Tschlin.

Auf den Tisch kommt Biosfera-Wasser frisch aus dem Hahn.
